Gangs

Gang-related crimes, especially violent crimes, are a particular concern of people in our south Seattle communities.  A very useful website to visit is the National Gang Center's (nationalgangcenter.gov) site.  A joint project of the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) and the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), the National Gang Center (NGC) offers a number of fact sheets, online training sessions, and videos which examine the complexity of gangs and gang-related crimes.
